Victoria Garden Bordeaux Centre

The location was convenient, about a 20-25 minute walk from the center. The rooms were clean enough, but I don't see why this place deserves three stars. The walls and doors are so thin you hear everything from the hall and neighboring rooms. Luckily I had earplugs. Breakfast was disappointing, with mostly toast, ham, cheese, and little else. On Wednesday, my last day, I went down early because breakfast was meant to start at 7. Nobody came, and the breakfast room stayed locked. I had to leave at 7:30 without the breakfast I'd paid for. The bathroom also smelled bad; the sink seemed poorly cleaned and was partly clogged.

A modern hotel with spacious rooms, a comfortable bed, and a good breakfast. Pretty solid for a three-star place and good value, though a few minor maintenance issues need attention.

I spent a week here for a conference in room 124. The room was spacious, clean, and cleaned every day, and the reception staff were helpful and nice. The location worked well: the bus is very close, tram B isn't far, and the center is walkable. There are shops and restaurants around too. Nothing to complain about. If I return to Bordeaux, I'd stay here again.

We paid 100€ for one night, but the room had a lot of humidity and there was hair in the bathroom as soon as we arrived. Some shelves were broken, and there was only one set of towels for the two of us. The room was noisy, and the cleaning woman came in without knocking. The location was okay, about a 10-minute walk from the tram stop, but the experience was very bad.
