Best Western Premier Hotel Bayonne Etche Ona - Bordeaux

We found it easy to get around from here, with attractions, good restaurants, and public transport close by. Our room was spacious and very clean, and the bathroom was modern and roomy. The staff were friendly and professional. We had a wonderful stay and I highly recommend the place.

Emilie at reception deserves a special mention. She was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel lived up to what we expected, and its location was excellent, not far from the Opera house and cathedral. We had breakfast from the self-service buffet, with hams, cheeses, croissants and hot options like scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. Just be aware the eggs in shells are raw and need to go in the egg boiler. I nearly cracked one thinking it was cooked, and another guest made that mistake. Our room was clean and spacious, with a nice bathroom.

There are plenty of food options nearby and the trams are easy to reach. The location is great, though the rooms are on the small side. Some streets can't be accessed by Uber, so plan for that.

The room was quiet, clean and comfortable, since the hotel is tucked just around the corner from the city's busiest stretch. That gives you a central spot without the noise. Staff were helpful, and it's a really nice hotel in a great location. Parking nearby is convenient, though not cheap at about €27 a night. Breakfast was nothing special, with no made-to-order cooking.
