What a huge disappointment. We booked room 111 for a week, but had to cancel and leave as soon as we arrived. The website photos were completely misleading. The room smelled of urine and tobacco, and the carpet and sofa bed, where my children were supposed to sleep, were in an appalling state. There were stains everywhere, mold on the walls, and the kitchenette was disgusting. Maybe it was just room 111, judging by the other reviews, but we couldn’t stay. Luckily, we got a refund. We had to tell the children their vacation was over as soon as it began, with no other hotel available at that time of year. A big THANK YOU to this hotel, which I’d call a piece of junk!

The staff were welcoming and attentive, and we’d highly recommend these rooms. My friend and I came to Bordeaux for two days over the Christmas holidays and were surprised by how well kept and comfortable the little apartment-hotel room was at that time of year. It was €52 a night for two. The hotel felt safe, just steps from the city center, with a few bus stops between it and the train station.

The location is handy, in a quiet area within walking distance of the tram and close to the city center. Inside, though, the ventilation was too loud and couldn’t be switched off, there were cobwebs on the curtains, and the soundproofing wasn’t good enough.
