We came without a reservation late in the evening and the hosts welcomed us warmly, offering beer and wine and lots of advice about Bordeaux and dinner. They even lent us bikes for the night and the next morning, which let us explore the beautiful, lively old city during our short visit. The place is hidden behind a discreet entrance, with a cozy living room and sunny garden pool. Our large, quiet room overlooked the garden and had a balcony, with individual oriental-style furnishings. My boyfriend and I, both 52, had a fantastic unexpected stay. Many thanks, and we hope to see you again.

Quiet and calm, yet only 5 minutes from the train station and 20 minutes from Bassin de Lumière. The service was the best part, thoughtful and adapted to what you need. Highly recommended. Thank you!

We had a fantastic oval-ball weekend, thanks to our friendly hosts. Martin and Alex's place is a lovely surprise behind an unassuming doorway facing the street. We'd happily return and recommend staying here to everyone.

The neighborhood isn't the most appealing, but the place itself is worth it. We stayed as a family with our 2-year-old, and the hosts were very pleasant and welcoming. Everything was clean and tastefully decorated, and breakfast was very fresh.

The spacious living area was clean, quiet, and lovely, and we felt at ease from the moment we arrived. Our hosts were incredibly kind, easy to talk to, and always available. We had a wonderful night and highly recommend the place. Already looking forward to coming back. Thanks again for the hospitality!
