For my short business stay, this was a great hotel. It’s close to public transport, and breakfast was amazing. The room was clean, neat, and comfortable, with no cleanliness issues.

Rajae prepared the room really well, and I appreciated how clean and comfortable it was. The bed was very comfortable and clean, and the room had strong air conditioning and blackout curtains. There’s no fridge, but I liked having different charging options: a plug, USB C, and USB. The hotel is conveniently less than a 10-minute walk from the A train stop, and the A train goes to the airport. There’s even a water dispenser in the lobby that serves sparkling water.

The location is a little out of the way, though there’s a tram stop nearby. The rooms are tidy and the bedding is comfortable.

For a low-cost stay in Bordeaux, this worked really well. The Wi-Fi and air conditioning were good, and breakfast had plenty of tasty continental options. Our room was clean and roomy, though the bathroom felt cramped and was on the small side.

Bed bugs made this a terrible stay. I noticed little blood marks on one side of the bed, but assumed the sheets were just permanently stained. There was nothing obvious on the bedding, and I didn’t realize then that the marks could mean crushed bugs or that I should check underneath. Later, my husband seemed to have hives from an allergic reaction, while I didn’t develop a rash until we reached the next Ibis in Bayonne. We may have carried the bugs on our clothes. We told our tour coordinator, who was supposed to inform the hotels. The room was stuffy and very hot, with no kettle or safe, and it was small. We tried to leave the window open, but it kept swinging shut. Eventually I unhooked the curtain at one end to hold the inner window open. That let in some air, but also more traffic noise. The trams are close, though it’s around a 25-minute walk to Old Town.
