10/10
We booked the cheapest room and it was still cozy, with everything we needed for one night. The value for the price is great, and the closed gate gave us a reassuring sense of safety. The blackout windows helped us sleep, and hot coffee or tea was available in the morning. I brought my own food, so I didn't try breakfast. If you're a student or a professional driver passing through Bordeaux, I'd recommend Hotel F1 as an affordable, safe place to stay.

We only booked that morning and arrived very late, but the service was great. The place was clean and affordable, and although it's a little way out of Bordeaux, it's still easy to get to. Worth staying.

The staff were really warm, and it works well as a cheap short stay if you just need somewhere to sleep between things in the city. The bed was basic, the shower was a simple plastic cabin, and the toilet floor stayed wet from the automatic wash system. There aren't any restaurants nearby.

Best wishes to Sarah and Selda. They were such kind, lovely hosts. Thanks so much!

I only got about six hours' sleep, but it was practical for a short stop. The staff were genuinely helpful and smiling when I arrived in the evening and left at 5am. It's not great for getting to the centre, and the toilets are in the corridor. The place is cheap, and the walls covered in travel-poster wallpaper felt like a bit much at first, though it grew on me.
