Maddy was incredible, and I can’t say enough good things about the hospitality. It feels like your own flat, with people anticipating what you might need. The room design is creative and thoughtful, from adapters and chargers to a little broom and feminine products. There’s an espresso machine stocked with local coffee beans, a tea kettle, refillable glass bottles of filtered water, everyday utensils and plates, and breakfast set up in your room by the concierge. The intimacy and care here are like nowhere else. I want to keep this place to myself, but I won’t!

We were amazed by our stay at Maison Hubert. The rooms were spacious, breakfast was great, and everything we needed was there. The staff were extra friendly and helpful. Thank you!

My daughter and I spent four days in July in the Biggy Cloud suite at Maison Hubert, and we’d happily return. The 70 m² apartment has a calm, charming Scandinavian feel, with soft blue tones and cozy furnishings. It’s in a quiet neighborhood in Bordeaux’s 2nd arrondissement, about 10 minutes from the city center, Rue Notre-Dame and lots of excellent restaurants. A good base for exploring while still enjoying some peace and quiet. It’s well arranged for four: one bedroom has a queen-size bed, and another has two singles that can be joined into a double. The living room is spacious, with a big sofa and rocking chair. We especially appreciated the two full bathrooms and the laundry area inside the apartment, which is handy even on a short stay. There’s no full kitchen, but the Delonghi coffee machine, fridge and kettle were enough for us. Breakfast was included, with fresh pastries and excellent baguettes delivered each morning, a real French treat. Everything was in place for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning in every room, high-speed WiFi, quality linens, elevator access and a secure, well-maintained building. Maddy’s personal concierge service was a real plus. She was warm, attentive and smiling, and gave us great local tips and restaurant recommendations. She made us feel at home right away.

The whole family loved this place, and yes, I’d stay again. We were four adults in a roomy apartment with two bedrooms, a living room, dining room and small kitchen area. The decor was excellent, with thoughtful little touches everywhere. The beds were comfortable, the TV was large (we never turned it on), the dining table was big enough to work at, and the bathrooms had rain shower heads. The only shortcoming was the separate WC, which had no washbasin. Breakfast arrived promptly in the room, and it was excellent. Maddy was lovely and great to deal with. Ahmed, one of the co-owners, was a delight, and his enthusiasm was infectious. The location is convenient too, with a pharmacy, supermarket and bookshop within two minutes, and Rue Notre Dame about nine minutes away. We bought a tote bag and candle, and they looked delectable. What a find, the photos don’t do it justice.

The service is the best part, with the team going the extra mile in every interaction. The apartments are beautifully done and have everything you might want in a B&B, including a Dyson hairdryer, steamer and coffee machine. It’s in a lovely, quiet part of town, close to local shops, cafes and restaurants, and an easy walk into central Bordeaux. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. I hope I can come back!
