Moxy Bordeaux Hotel

I'm a loyal Marriott Bonvoy customer and usually choose Marriott hotels, but this was one of the worst Moxys I've stayed in. I wouldn't recommend it. The air conditioning didn't work, the room was 26°, and the windows wouldn't open. The location is outside the city, which wouldn't normally bother me if the Marriott brand had been delivered. They didn't recognize my status, either. I was told I'd get €10 per day, but it was actually only €9 per night, and they wouldn't honor what I was told. Breakfast cost €16, which was outrageous for the poor selection and quality, and there were flies everywhere.

Check-in was smooth and everything was well organized. The team were professional and friendly, and a special thanks to Lili, Clemence, Shana and Justine for making the stay so great! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The breakfast buffet is on the small side, though the hotel breakfast works well if you're heading out very early for a day trip, such as to Arcachon. There are also good breakfast options nearby. I stayed with my best friend in a superior room with a harbor view. It was small, but that didn't matter since we were only there to sleep. It was surprisingly quiet, with no door slams or footsteps in the hallway. The hotel has an urban industrial style and very friendly, young staff.

The staff were friendly, and the location is a bit of a walk from the city center. It’s near the wine museum, grocery stores, and other places to eat. I didn't have any problems with the hotel, but I missed basics like a gym, coffee maker, or electric kettle. The room was very basic, though I think that's part of the hotel's vibe.
