The WiFi was good enough for work and calls, and I appreciated having a coffee machine, though I had to clean off its limescale myself. The kitchen and bedroom were clean, and the bed was comfortable, but the bathroom floor hadn't been cleaned well. The room was basic and much too hot, which really took away from the apartment stay. With 40-degree summer heat, having fans but no air conditioning was shocking. Breakfast cost €16 and wasn't worth it for the quality. The hotel is outside the main city, though the G bus takes you straight into town. I'd rather stay in the center. A nice enough hotel with basic amenities, but the rooms and breakfast need work.

The friendly, accommodating front desk staff made this one of my most pleasant hotel stays lately. I'll make it my go-to in Bordeaux from now on. Rue de St. Catherine is a half-hour walk away, and there are several great restaurants within a couple hundred meters. Every room has a balcony, and they're basically one-bedroom condos with a functional kitchen: a good-sized refrigerator, tea and coffee, a girl screw of course, and basic dishes. Excellent experience.

The new apartment was clean and nice, with all-new equipment, big glass doors and windows, and a huge balcony ❤️❤️. They welcomed us at 7.am and let us leave our luggage at reception until 4pm check-in, while we went to Saint Emilion. The location worked well for us, about a 12-minute walk to the main train station, which was no problem. Our side of the room was noisy all night because of the neighboring store, but it didn't bother us since we were excited about the days spent visiting places in Bordeaux! 😃😃

The building felt a bit out of the way for me. The room was fine, though pretty basic, and the service was good. It was a little odd needing a code to get in when there was a reception desk.
