Villas Foch

After more than four weeks of travel around the world, we arrived at Villas FOCH tired, and the little practical details made a real difference. We could quickly work out the lights, find the blow dryer, and use the shower. The room was spotless, the bathroom spacious, and there was plenty of closet space. The minibar had cold drinks at no extra charge, and breakfast was delicious. We loved the helpful staff, who all spoke perfect English. Camille at the front desk was a pleasure. Fully recommend!

What stood out most was the cleanliness. After all my travels and hotel stays, this was the first time I’d found bedding and pillows so fresh and spotless. The location was unbeatable, the service impeccable, and the staff warm and attentive. Every part of the stay was delightful and exceeded my expectations. I couldn’t recommend the place more highly.

The sauna, pool, and gym were excellent, and breakfast was wonderful. We spent two nights in the Jr suite and enjoyed every moment. The service was exceptional, on par with and even beyond The Four Seasons resorts. I highly recommend it and would stay again.

The housekeeping team was excellent and left sweet notes on our bathroom mirror. Other nice touches included a complimentary minibar with drinks and a couple of snacks, a nespresso machine with pods, and a pillow menu. It’s a lovely small boutique hotel with warm, welcoming staff, though I’d call it a great four-star rather than a great five-star. I’d return without hesitation. One thing spoiled the end of the stay: a 5% staff gratuity was added to the bill, over $100 for two nights. They had told me when I booked, but with all the trip planning I’d forgotten and had already left generous tips for housekeeping. I paid the extra 5% to avoid an awkward situation, but it wasn’t a good way to finish. A hotel of this caliber should reconsider the policy and include necessary expenses in the rates instead of adding them at the end.
