Au Moulin de Bougnon

There were 13 of us, from age 3 to 77, and the Moulin de Bougnon was a great fit for our family weekend. The grounds are peaceful, with activities and games for different tastes. Inside, the house felt welcoming and was clean and well cared for. We’d definitely come back.

Doriane was so welcoming and helpful, especially with local suggestions for a caterer, wine merchant, pastry chef, and more since we weren’t from the area. We celebrated our 40th birthday with family and friends at the gîte, and the quiet setting let us enjoy the party and all the facilities: the pool, jacuzzi, loungers, pétanque court, ping-pong table, and greenery. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and well-equipped for overnight guests, while the flat outdoor area worked well for tents and campervans. I highly recommend it. Thank you, Doriane!

Doriane was accommodating and gave us great tips for the evening, including a caterer, wine merchant, and cake. She also let us put up tents in the garden because we had more than 13 beds. We had a wonderful surprise birthday weekend here. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and lovely, everything was spotless and well-equipped, and the amenities were amazing 🤩. We enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi, pétanque court, ping-pong table, children’s games, and large, well-kept garden. There was also a huge covered area where we could eat dinner and party. Thank you, Doriane, it’s a wonderful place to remember for future occasions.

Everything worked out perfectly for our wedding stay in Faverney, where we rented the cottage for 12 people. The property was fenced, which suited our dog, and inside it was very clean, tastefully decorated, and had really comfortable beds. Our hostess was kind and accommodating, including looking after our dog, which we appreciated. We’re already planning another visit in good weather so we can enjoy the outdoors. See you soon!
