Gite La Tortue Bleue

We couldn’t stay as long as we wanted, and we’re already keen to come back to Gîte La Tortue Bleue. The pool is gorgeous, spacious, clean, and perfect for slow afternoons, with lots of comfortable places to relax outside. The kitchen is properly equipped and made cooking easy. We’re rhum enthusiasts and came to Guadeloupe to visit all the island’s distilleries, so the rhum bar caught our eye. It was just as good as we’d hoped, with plenty of rhums to try on an honesty basis, perfect for making a ti’ punch by the pool. You’ll need a car, but beaches and fun nightlife are only a short drive away. Florence made us feel welcome and made everything easy. We ordered breakfast on our first morning and it was delicious, definitely worth it. Loved our stay!

Florence gave us such a warm welcome. The bungalow was lovely, well equipped, and surrounded by beautiful greenery, in a perfect location. The swimming pool was the best part. We had a wonderful time.

The gîte has everything you need, plus a big terrace and a hammock. In the lush green setting, the swimming pool and rum bar make it easy to relax. Don’t hesitate to book!

On arrival, the guesthouse really makes an impression, with all the lush greenery, a bungalow with a terrace and outdoor kitchen, a shared infinity pool, an outdoor lounge, and a rum bar. The welcome was very friendly. The bathroom is spacious, but the shower drains badly even though the water pressure is low. There are mosquitoes everywhere, and the Wi-Fi doesn’t work. Don’t expect much from the kitchen’s cleanliness.
