The room could use some good fans, because it was really hot. It was also a shame there wasn’t a TV. The room itself felt dated, and both the bed and parquet floor creaked, though the bathroom was clean and decent and had towels. Breakfast was fine: fresh bread, homemade jam, and goat cheese, but the pastries were industrial. Dinner was good, with one bottle each of white, red, and rosé wine for the six of us. Our Wonderbox booking was for one night. The welcome was adequate, and the evening aperitif was a single glass of the house drink with peanuts.

We were surprised by how quiet our room was. When we arrived, we expected to hear everything from next door, but we couldn’t hear anything. The bedding was really comfortable, the place was lovely and well maintained, and Martine gave us a warm welcome. The food was excellent.

Breakfast was disappointing, with mass-produced pastries and stale bread. The meal was decent, but we were charged €10 for drinks even though we’d only had water, and that charge wasn’t mentioned when we booked. Our room was clean but outdated, and the wardrobe was locked with no key provided, so we couldn’t put our clothes away. The welcome wasn’t very friendly. I don’t recommend this place.

The room was pretty, and the bedding was very comfortable. The owner was lovely, kind, and generous, and both the meal and breakfast were very generous too. We had such pleasant moments at this bed and breakfast. Thank you, Aline and Joël Savrot. I highly recommend it.
