Hotel Mercure Paris Boulogne Pont de Saint Cloud

There are plenty of places outside the hotel, including restaurants and a nearby supermarket that stays open very late. My room and bathroom were cleaned and maintained properly throughout my several-day stay, and I was very satisfied with the service. I’ll probably come back.

The room was decent and reception staff were polite and welcoming, but I wouldn’t call this a four-star hotel as it’s claimed to be. There seems to be only one person at reception at all times, perhaps to cut costs. The air cooling didn’t work at all. It was at least 25 degrees Celsius (77 F) in the room, and we asked several times from the afternoon onward for someone to fix it. We were there with a baby and none of us slept well. Staff said they couldn’t help and that we could leave and book another hotel if it was too much of a problem. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

It’s a clean, modern hotel, but the food choices are very limited and there’s no gym. The toilet is separate from the shower room and has no sink, so you have to go into the shower room to wash your hands.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and breakfast was generous and delicious. We got a warm, friendly welcome, with helpful staff who were always smiling. The recently renovated hotel is a wonderful find on a quiet street near the metro, making a great base for exploring Paris. We’ll happily return.
