We felt very looked after by the kind, attentive owners. They even bought us a mattress to make things more comfortable. The bright apartment had secure parking right beside it and was well set up for cooking. It’s also well placed, around 15 minutes from the beach. I highly recommend it.

We were there for a week, and the owner was so kind and attentive, with excellent advice. The apartment had a big bedroom with a really comfortable mattress and a kitchen stocked with what we needed. Shops are close by, the town center isn’t far, and Nausicaa is a 15-minute walk away. We got a parking permit for a spot five minutes from the apartment, which worked perfectly for our holiday. Nothing but good things to say, I highly recommend it.

We had a spacious, freshly renovated apartment in an older building. It was bright, clean, practical, and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and all the appliances worked perfectly. The IKEA-style furnishings were functional, though the quality felt a bit lacking. Parking was a three-minute walk away. Pascal was very attentive and helped us in German, probably using Google Translate, which gave us a few laughs. A Happy Easter greeting in July was a bit out of place, and “Miss” doesn’t always fit ;-). The main problem was the lack of soundproofing. We were on the second floor and could hear every step from the resident above. It was fine in the daytime, but at night it felt as if someone was walking in our room. Some fixtures and switches were installed very crookedly, as though the renovation workers hadn’t used a spirit level, but everything still worked ;-). The neighborhood wasn’t somewhere I’d want to live. The street felt less desirable, and the view from the kitchen was of a backyard with three dogs that sometimes whined or barked, plus an unfinished construction site. The building itself looked as if it hadn’t been repainted in decades, and dog owners left mess everywhere. The parallel streets weren’t any better. Things improved once we headed toward the old town, and the city has some very beautiful areas. In the end, the stay was still worth it.

The apartment was clean and everything inside was fine, but the location was really poor for us. On Saturday night a neighbor’s dog howled for ages, then the street stayed noisy until 5:30 AM, with people shouting, banging on cars, and loud cars accelerating. Probably down to the nightclub next door. 🤨🥱
