Chambres d'hotes du chateau

We were lucky to find a room here. The hosts go out of their way to make you feel at home, and the place is elegant, beautiful, and very convenient for a weekend in the old town. The style and facilities felt just right, and breakfast was delectable. Divine.

The host was so attentive and kind that we could tell she really cared about our stay. My boyfriend and I loved the fresh-looking place, and the clean, pretty room. I'm usually not a fan of a "royal" style, but here it made sense. It was probably my best hotel experience! The underground pool was a special treat. You can reserve private time there, and it looks like a cave. We enjoyed it with glasses of champagne. I also loved the French breakfast in a lovely room with classical music. For a romantic stay, this hotel makes you feel like a prince or princess. Many thanks to the hosts!

The location is excellent, just inside the walls of the old city and close to the impressive domed church. We found plenty of bars and restaurants only a street away. Secured parking behind a locked gate was well worth it, away from the busy, narrow streets. Breakfast was excellent, with bread, preserves, pastries, ham, cheese, and fruit. David checked that we were all right, then left us to enjoy it. We didn't use the swimming pool, though I understand guests who do really enjoy it. David and Sabrina give you a heartfelt welcome into their beautiful home. The house is over 300 years old, traditionally decorated, and lovingly renovated to a very high standard. They're rightly proud of it. The place is well run, and the accommodation is lovely. This great couple make the Chambre d' hote well worth considering if you find yourself in Boulogne Sur Mer.

The historic setting was exceptional, and our room was great. We also had a delicious breakfast. Sabrina et David were fantastic, warm, and friendly hosts. Beautiful stay, and we'll be back. Thank you!
