Grootgenoegen

A lovely place, and the host was really helpful.

We had a lovely stay, with a delicious breakfast shared with the hosts and a welcome drink waiting for us. They were so warm and kind, and the accommodation was a real pleasure to relax in. I'd happily recommend it.

We only had one night at Ron and Annelies's place last August, which was a shame because the cottages would suit a much longer stay. We booked the Broodhuisje (Bread House) and the Kleine Stal (Little Stable), both fully equipped, with small kitchens and private walled terraces on the spacious grounds. The windows all had mosquito screens, and the thick walls and ceiling fan kept things comfortable inside. The next morning brought a lovely valley view and a generous breakfast full of homemade things. Ron and Annelies were patient and helpful throughout, even though we were there such a short time. They welcomed us with a drink, and were ready to put our things in the big freezer. The kids went straight into the pool. There's plenty to see and do nearby, so we'd love to come back for longer.

My wife and I had a really pleasant stay here. The hosts were so friendly, and breakfast was generous. The guesthouse has two little apartments converted from an old farmhouse. I'd definitely recommend it.
