Ibis Bourg-En-Bresse

The staff really made our stay at Ibis. They went out of their way to help us get around during our visit from Canada. Our room was lovely, and the restaurant food was delicious. I'd highly recommend it.

For the price, it's okay, but the rooms are pretty small. Prisons seem to have bigger ones, though that's only what I've seen on TV. Breakfast was basic, with just scrambled eggs and bacon in the hot section. I would've liked sausage or something like hash browns, so I wouldn't choose breakfast here if I stayed again.

Randa went far beyond what she had to do and was like an angel during a really stressful time of travel. I'll never forget how kind she was. We arrived very late and left very early, but the staff were still friendly, professional, and accommodating throughout.

The hotel itself was comfortable and clean, with okay rooms for a stopover. It was quiet, and the nearby retail park meant a petrol station was handy the next morning. The staff were friendly too. But the restaurant was very expensive. My lasagne looked like a child's portion, while my wife's pasta was an okay amount but nothing special for the price. Even a small bottle of water was nearly £5, or 4-80 euros. We won't eat there again if we return.
