The staff were really kind and helpful, and the restaurant was fine. The rooms, though, were either small and dark or facing the noisy main road. What a shame.

The room was stifling, over 30°C (86°F), but mosquitoes made it impossible to keep the window open. We woke with strange bites that looked like bedbug bites. The place is across from the Rhône River, and it’s also right by a busy main road, almost like a highway, so there’s a lot of noise and pollution. With all the traffic, you have to watch your car carefully. There have been reports of thefts and broken windows near the hotel. It was windy and drafty as well, making our stay very uncomfortable. Reception is only open from 5 pm to 8 pm, which makes planning difficult. When we arrived, the person greeting us seemed rushed and unpleasant, with no time to listen. The service was appalling. This was a thoroughly unpleasant experience. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, even for one night. It felt like a complete rip-off, and the place should be shut down.
