Aiguille Grive Chalets Hotel

We’ve stayed twice and are already planning to return. It works brilliantly for families, with comfortable accommodation, good food, and friendly service throughout. Several lifts are easy to reach when heading out to ski, and there are plenty of routes back.

We come back often and expect to keep doing so. The chalets are just right, the rooms are a good size, and the views are lovely. The staff are very friendly.

Some ski trips don’t go to plan, and I ended up enjoying the sunny balcony and its glorious view instead of the slopes. Julie was wonderful about it, arranging physiotherapy with the expert Lili, plus taxis and ski guides who could meet my able-bodied family at the door. That kind of thoughtful management really matters. The chalets are bright, spacious, and well equipped, and there’s a comfortable bar, friendly and considerate staff, and a personalised shuttle to the ski hire shop. It’s genuine ski-in, ski-out, and the chef is still excellent. The restaurant has been refurbished and L’Aiguille Grive is under new ownership since my review last year, but the experience feels much the same. Same time, same place next year.

Really enjoyed the stay, especially the beds and sauna, and the cook was amazing. Big thanks to all the staff. I’ll be back.
