Chalet Fr Gilkens Arc 1600

Everything is set up for comfort at this peaceful chalet right at the foot of the slopes. It feels warm and charming, like home, and is furnished with great taste. The bedrooms are spacious, with incredibly soft duvets, and the bathrooms are fantastic, with modern walk-in showers and towel warmers. There's a terrace, boot warmers, a washing machine, ski and equipment storage, and a parking space. We had a wonderful sunny stay. What a fantastic place! 😍

We've been coming to Montrigon for years to ski in Les Arcs, and this chalet more than meets our expectations. It's got all the comfort we need. Super U is an 8-minute drive away, and the funicular is just a 2-minute walk. The recently added bone warmers are a great feature, keeping your bones dry in the morning! We'll definitely be back, just like every year 😊

We finally found some peace and quiet in a mountain setting. This charming chalet has been authentically restored and is wonderfully comfortable. It feels real, which we loved. It's just a short walk from the funicular, which takes you straight to the slopes of Arc 1600 in a magnificent, extensive ski area. We had a fantastic stay and highly recommend it, especially for a digital detox. The best part was skiing right down to the chalet. Magical! The owner is super friendly. The funicular is right there, which made getting around so easy, and it was free for pedestrians this year. We spent a wonderful week here as two families, eight of us in all, and came away with great memories. The chalet is beautiful, quietly tucked into a hamlet, with lovely decor and everything we needed. We also got a fantastic welcome, lots of useful advice, and plenty of flexibility around check-in and check-out. Thank you!
