Club Med Les Arcs Panorama

The Kids Club was a weak point for us. It felt poorly organized, sometimes hardly organized at all, which matters a lot for families. I also found it embarrassing and very disappointing that the hotel charges 10 euros for a pin when children finish their ski lessons, especially after the high price of the stay. The rooms were comfortable, modern and well maintained, and the ski lessons were very good, one of the highlights. Food was decent, but nowhere near excellent. For a resort that presents itself as premium, the dining could and should be much better. Club Med Les Arcs Panorama is a good hotel overall, but these are details that shouldn't happen at this level. I might recommend it for one visit, but probably not more than that.

The Club Med hotel is nice, but Francesco at the bar is what made my stay five stars. He was always helpful with anything I needed and already knew what drink I wanted. He was also very polite to my 10-year-old sister, even though she's a pain.

The ski lessons were a real highlight for both the kids and adults. The instructors were well prepared and so kind. We had an incredible week, with a wonderful view, excellent food and rooms, and great service. The manager was always around and very polite, and all the staff were lovely.

The two things that made the stay difficult were the lifts and getting here on Sunday. We arrived by train and funicular, but the free shuttle doesn't stop by the club that day, so we had a 15-minute walk with little kids and luggage. At least the weather was sunny. The lifts meant queues, as other reviews mention, and sometimes we took the stairs. Climbing seven floors with small children got hard. Even so, we'd definitely come back. It was our first Club Med stay as a family with two young kids, and the baby and mini club staff, especially Tiphaine, Jade, Camille and Cie, made us feel safe leaving them in good hands. That let us ski together as a couple. The room was spacious and had everything we needed, the food was delicious with plenty of variety, and the kid-friendly atmosphere made it easy for parents to relax. The restaurant servers were friendly too. We really appreciated being able to ski in and out, and the families and groups we spoke with were all very friendly. The live music and shows were great. Be prepared to eat and drink all the time!
