The location for skiing is fantastic: you can ski in and out right to the locker entrance, depending on snow, otherwise it’s a 20-meter walk to the piste. The blue run takes you to three main lifts and straight to the kids’ ski classes. Arc 1800 is the most central village in Paradiski, though we don’t find it as nice as 2000 or especially 1950. We’d consider staying here again if we choose Arc 1800. The apartments are old but still decent and complete, with good showers and beds. The five-person apartment was a decent size. Our kids enjoyed the pool, which was a decent temperature, but they weren’t allowed in the sauna and steam room area, and we couldn’t understand why. There were two small drawbacks: it can be noisy at night when people return from the bars around 2-3 AM, and the walk to the supermarket takes 10 minutes. Coming back means walking uphill with heavy bags.
