The pool stayed clean, and after skiing we really appreciated having several saunas and steam rooms to choose from. Our apartment had plenty of room, a double bed, bunk beds, a pull-out sofa and a well-stocked kitchen. We visited at the end of January 2026, and the staff were fantastic, especially the cheerful woman who checked us in and was there when we picked up pastries in the mornings. The slopes were close, and it was a short five-minute walk into town, though the route goes up and down a slope. The Dahu lift is also nearby and connects to the centre of 1800. We had a perfect stay and will definitely return.

The accommodation was pleasant, and the reception team were friendly and helpful. Parking on site worked well, though reaching it involves a short walk outside. The place felt much more isolated than we expected. If you're here to ski and are confident on skis, the location is fine. Getting to a bar, shop or restaurant on foot is much less convenient. The route to Dahu/Edenarc goes up a steep piste, which is also the way back on skis, so it may not suit less confident skiers. The walk to Arc1800 is easier, but still involves an icy path and then a piste, as shown in the photo. It works if you plan ahead and bring your week's food on the first day. Buying things up the mountain isn't as easy as you might think. We had young children with us, and I wouldn't recommend it for families with little kids.

The reception team were lovely, and the pool was great. You have what you need here, and it's well placed for getting around. Just be aware the residence has a 2000s style, and reaching it on foot means going up or down a hill.

We booked rooms for six and four, and they worked out really well. The sauna, pool and steam room were good, and you can order pastries through reception. I'd definitely recommend it.
