Taj-I Mah

The spa was just right after skiing, with a sauna, steam room, pool, jacuzzi, and salt room. Massages are offered, but they're quite expensive. You can rent and store skis at the hotel too. We booked through Sunweb and thought what was included made it excellent value. I'd recommend it for couples wanting a relaxing ski holiday where they're well looked after, though families with young children may be better off eating elsewhere. Our six-night stay felt very comfortable and cared for. The hotel sits at the edge of Arc 2000, with easy access to several lifts and the nearby village, and the ski-in/ski-out location is excellent. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with thoughtful touches and good amenities, including daily water, evening turndown, and sweets. Mari at reception deserves a special mention for being so kind and attentive. We had half board and ate every evening at Table du Taj-i-Mah. The six-course menu was consistently delicious and high quality, with a fantastic cheese selection. Reblochon is a must. Portions were sometimes on the small side and service could be slow, but overall dinner was excellent. Nicholas was especially attentive and noticed even the smallest details. Breakfast was plentiful, with lots to choose from. We'd definitely recommend the hotel.

Carina, apologies if I've misspelled your name, welcomed us so warmly and upgraded our room. It was stunning, with a fabulous mountain view that felt almost magical. Anthony, one of the waiters, was also so friendly and helped us with the menus and wine pairings. The food was amazing. We stayed six nights at the beginning of February, and everything from start to finish was incredible. The location was wonderful, and the staff were lovely. I rarely write reviews, but if you're considering booking, do it. It was the best stay ever. Merci Beaucoup!!!

The location made skiing straight from and back to the hotel easy, and the style and elegance were top drawer. The staff were impeccable, always charming, friendly, and extremely helpful. They were a real credit to the whole ski holiday, and we can't thank them enough.

We didn't stay at the hotel, but we did eat at the restaurant. Nicolas looked after us very well. We shared a steak, which he carved in front of us, and had a fish that he skilfully deboned and prepared. The food was fantastic. When my brother got his hands dirty on a meat bone, Nicolas brought lemon water and a towel so he could clean up.
