Le Christina

I liked the value and the location. The historic part of the city is only a 10-minute walk away, with Palais Jacques Coeur and Bourges cathedral to visit.

I slept peacefully in the large, comfortable bed. The room was spacious, and the electric shutters did a great job keeping out street noise and light. The neighbourhood also felt safe when I was out walking in the evening. Le Christina is well placed for exploring on foot, just a short walk from the main centre. I found free on-street parking right outside, though I was lucky to get a space. It wasn’t clear where to park if those spots were full, so that may take some planning. The shower was a good size, with strong pressure and plenty of hot water. It would be nice to have conditioner with the shampoo. The hairdryer was underpowered and could use an upgrade. One small comfort detail: real cups or mugs would be better than paper ones for a hot drink. A comfortable hotel in a handy location, with a few little things that could be improved. I’d stay again.

We only stayed one night, but the hotel was very good and conveniently located. We could park the car, then head out for a lovely meal nearby.

The staff we met were all very helpful, and we’d happily stay here again if we needed to. On arrival, a friendly staff member welcomed us and showed us to a very clean, comfortable room with good lighting, air conditioning and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was a plentiful, nicely presented continental spread. There’s free parking on the same street, but when we arrived at 16:30 there were no spaces. We found a spot just around the corner instead, which cost 1 euro 20 and covered us until 09:30 the next morning.
