After a long drive, it was a relief to find a very friendly staff member at reception, with our keys ready and check-in done in no time. We’d forgotten our European adaptor, so he lent us one for the night. The bed was comfortable, extra pillows were available if needed, and the shower was great. Breakfast offered a good choice in a pleasant setting. The hotel is very well located for road links.

We stayed on Saturday night, as we usually do when stopping over on our way home from Spain or the South of France. The room was very comfortable, and the staff in the restaurant, bar and reception were lovely. There wasn’t an à la carte menu in the restaurant that evening, so the selection was a bit limited, though the food was good. There was a very good choice of cold breakfast items, but the scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage were barely warm.

The staff are great, and breakfast is very good. I also enjoyed the pleasant park around the hotel, which has an additional swimming pool, and the fitness centre is decently equipped. The main drawback is that the rooms are old, and noise from neighbouring rooms can be heard.

The reception and breakfast were really nice, and the bathrooms have been renovated and are clean. But the rooms are terribly small, and the carpets are extremely dirty. I wouldn’t return or recommend it.

Pleasant enough for a one-night stay. There was no tea, coffee or milk in the room, and breakfast was cold. We arrived at 9 pm, possibly on a last-minute booking through Skills, so they may not have been prepared. There was plenty of choice at breakfast, but the hot food was lukewarm.
