L'Alisier Chantant

I only wish I’d booked another night. The room was spacious and very clean, and Eleonore was so welcoming, helpful, and flexible. Breakfast was fabulous, with garden figs, homemade jams and yogurt, plus freshly squeezed orange juice. The location is very convenient, opposite the town hall and within walking distance of the train station. Excellent stay and great value for money.

A peaceful, pleasant setting and a warm welcome. The breakfast was very good, and the pool was a real treat for the children and grandchildren. It’s also a good base for visiting the southern Seine-et-Marne region.

Bourron-Marlotte is a lovely village with excellent restaurants. We recommend Le Bistrot du Broc and Le Café de la Paix for both the food and atmosphere. The region is beautiful, with plenty to do, from kayaking and hiking to horseback riding, and it’s a wonderful change of scenery just about two hours from Paris. Borrowing bicycles was a huge plus, especially for exploring and stopping by a body of water. Christophe suggested two routes, one by scooter and one by bicycle, that let us admire part of the region. Éléonore and Christophe were thoughtful, delightful hosts, full of helpful advice. They made sure we felt comfortable and had our own space. The whole weekend was positive. Our room was pleasant and had a bathtub, the kitchen and living area were very well equipped, and the pool was large enough to swim in and could be heated. Breakfast was generous, varied, and delicious, with fresh bread, freshly squeezed orange juice, fruit, and a little homemade sweet treat from Éléonore. Thank you, Éléonore and Christophe. We’re already looking forward to going back to L'Alisier Chantant :)

The bedding was perfect, and we had a very pleasant welcome. Excellent place, I recommend it.
