La Cote Bleue

Breakfast in the modern, magnificent restaurant was very good. Our ground-floor room was basic, but spacious and adequate for what we needed, with a small table and two chairs outside, opening onto the pool area. Parking was just outside the room. The views and location were fabulous, though the pool and lounging area weren't open in April. I'd definitely like to come back for longer after April!

We'd stayed at La Côte Bleue before, and it makes a really nice one-night stop on the way between France and Spain. It's conveniently just off the highway, with secure parking and lovely staff. After a long day in the car, the pool is a great bonus for a refreshing swim, and we enjoy the restaurant too.

The restaurant was great, we loved everything there. The hotel is wonderful too, with a very large, clean pool and amazing views from its spot right by the lake. We'll be regular guests!

Our room was basic but had everything we needed, and the price was very reasonable. We were traveling from Spain to Germany and stopped for a night. It's a great setup if your vehicle is fully packed, since the room has private covered parking right outside the door. There was also a door on the other side leading to a small terrace and easy access to the pool in the middle of the L-shaped building. The motel faces the oyster farms and serves their oysters fresh at its waterfront restaurant. They allow dogs of all sizes for a small fee. I only wish dogs were allowed on the restaurant terrace. It wasn't a big problem, though, since most other restaurants in the port allow dogs both inside and outside, and it's a very nice walk from the hotel. All in all, a great place. I'd come back.
