Château de la Chaussée

The warm welcome is one of the reasons we've come back several times. Every visit, my family and I are greeted with a smile, and the staff are cheerful and professional. We've always had a wonderful stay at the castle.

There was plenty for the whole family, including the dogs, and the setting is beautiful. The facilities are excellent and seem thought through for everyone's comfort. We had a lovely one-night campervan stay, with Christine greeting us so kindly and warmly. I'd happily come back. Thank you, Christine, for such a lovely break 🥰

The booking fees charged by Homecamper are lost, even though you may eventually get reimbursed after insisting. If your motorhome is at least 6 meters long, you may be refused entry after booking a pitch. Christine, the would-be chatelaine, seems worried about her wall. You might be able to maneuver in, but there's also a risk of damaging your vehicle. Fellow motorhome owners, avoid this place. This person is acting in bad faith.

We'd booked four nights on the property, but she said we'd arrived after 7:00 PM and tried to make us sleep in our car in her garden. Avoid this place at all costs. The owner was hysterical, mean, and insulting.
