Baptist and Clara had only signed the papers two days earlier, but my small group and I found the new owners absolutely lovely. They’re young, charming, and speak English very well. I hope they make a success of this beautiful place and keep its character. Leslie’s review got it right: a charming hotel, good value, spotless, with modern bathrooms and a quaint breakfast patio. We also had a wonderful dinner there.

We heard the owner had sold the place and hope the charm sticks around. It’s a lovely stop on the way to Gorges de Verdon, with a quaint patio for breakfast, very clean rooms, and modern bathrooms. Great value, too.

The hotel was clean and pleasant, and the space is used really well. I finally got to visit after my friend kept vacationing in Brass d’Asse each year. Dinner felt magical, with little touches of lighting that made a difference. The meal was authentic and local, though it was a “shut up and eat” setup with no choices. I’m not sure whether that’s the usual arrangement or my host’s call. There was a great range of wine and bubbles, too. And the ice cream is intense in the best way: whichever flavor you choose, it really delivers, from super creamy vanilla to very lemony citron and rum-soaked rum raisin. I’d love to stay here someday and enjoy the small-town charm. It’s a quiet, rustic little town in southern France, very charming and relaxing.
