The drive there might put you off, but it’s worth making the trip. The views and surroundings are fabulous, and there’s a great pool. The hosts speak English and made the stay very comfortable, with homely accommodation and lots of thoughtful extra touches.

It’s high up in the mountains and a little hard to reach, but the trip is worth it. We stayed in Lavanda, a wonderful room, and enjoyed the garden and pool. Raffele was incredibly kind, and speaks very good Italian, as does the lady who welcomed us, though I’m sorry I can’t remember her name. We had dinner there too, with excellent traditional cooking from his wife. He even let us park our motorcycle under a shelter. We were only there for one night, but the place stayed with us. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

The meal was generous and delicious, made with high-quality ingredients, and the accommodation was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. It felt like home in a peaceful, authentic setting. A big thank you for the warm welcome at this charming bed and breakfast in Brault. A wonderful discovery, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Var Valley.
