Holiday Suites La Brise des Dunes

There was plenty of room for my daughter and me, and the apartment was clean. We liked the location, although it felt closer to De Panne than Bray Dune, and the staff were friendly. Everything else we needed was there. After walking in the dunes and on the beach, we brought sand inside and had no broom to clean it up. The new bed wasn't comfortable, and it was too warm. Summer blankets would make more sense.

The location felt pretty isolated, with little within walking distance, though the place itself is fairly new and the beds were comfortable. Some lights weren't working, and others were green. You have to make the beds yourself and strip them when you leave, and towels cost an extra €5 per set. That's understandable for an apartment, but people booking just one night might expect hotel service. The accommodation was also quite expensive.

It was so quiet and clean that the silence felt a little strange. The apartment setup seems ideal for a family holiday. I couldn't find anywhere nearby to buy or order food, though that may have been because of the pandemic.

We could bring our dog, which was great. The place was spotless and simple, with everything we needed.
