The place itself is very nice, as others have said, but that’s not enough to make it work for an event. There’s a sound limiter that’s far too sensitive and cuts power to every outlet in the room. Forget live music here. At one point the power stayed off for 30 minutes, and it was only 11:30 PM. That was when the party started to fall apart.

The children had their own little area upstairs, and we slept in a large room with perfect bedding. Breakfast was superb, and the wood fire was lovely for warming up. The place has been restored with great taste. It was perfect.

I’m the DJ from the evening of January 13, 2018, and I’m furious with the gite. I’ve done two parties there, and both times it was a hassle. As other comments have said, the limiter can switch on without any music. Last week, the whole room singing “happy birthday” together was enough to trigger it. It’s good that our equipment is professional, because the amps and lighting effects could be damaged. Madam, to put it bluntly, I don’t think the manager should rent the venue for wedding parties. You should hold chess competitions instead. Belote would be too noisy, but people think a lot during chess and stay quiet, which would suit the limiter perfectly. Saturday, January 13th was my last one there. Take that as a warning. Animax 35

The location, surroundings, and building are lovely, but the hall has a decibel limiter that keeps cutting the power. It disrupted the evening several times. That’s deplorable for a venue like this. I don’t recommend it. 😡😡😡
