The house has such a distinctive charm, and you can feel the care in everything. Claudine and Jean-Pierre are lovely people. We had a wonderful time.

Getting around from Breitenau does mean having a car, but it made a great base for visiting the little towns and places like Colmar and Strasbourg. We stayed for five days and felt at home right away, thanks to the warm, welcoming hosts. The rooms and house are decorated with real care, and there’s a lovely garden too. Breakfast was delicious, and they always checked whether we needed anything else. Thanks for a lovely stay. We’d happily recommend it.

We stayed in the Apple Room, which was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The welcome was warm, and there was a thoughtful touch when we left. Breakfast was generous, too. It’s a great spot for a change of scenery, about a 30-minute drive to Colmar and 40 minutes to Strasbourg. We had a really pleasant stay and would recommend it.

We’ve stayed here twice now and have been just as happy both times. The beautiful house was a lovely place to come back to after visiting the Christmas markets, and we were made very welcome with our two children. We all slept well, and breakfast was very good. We’ll come back again.
