Le Relais des Deux Tours

We were given a printed map for our drive to Switzerland, with a suggested back route through beautiful towns and scenery on quiet roads. It added about an hour, but was absolutely worth it. Before that, we’d had a lovely breakfast, and the evening before we shared local cheese and wine over an aperitif with the host and another guest, plus got tips on nearby restaurants. We were the first Australians to stay at Le relais, and the host made us feel very welcome. Five stars don’t seem like enough. Thanks Bruno and Maron.

The owners make every visit memorable, and we’ve returned many times for the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Set in an idyllic "Village Comtois" among fields and meadows, the old house has been beautifully renovated, with spacious rooms and a lovely indoor pool. So much care has gone into every detail. Don’t be put off by the distance from the motorway, it’s only 20 minutes from Baume-les-Dames along a very scenic road. A real hidden gem with a great soul. Un grand merci Bruno et Manon!

The swimming pool and the house both add to the lovely ambience, and the hospitality is just as good. Everything felt perfect. I’d happily recommend this place.

The breakfast was generous, delicious, and made with quality products, and the pool was a real pleasure, well maintained too. The place was spotless, and we felt comfortable right away. The owner was attentive and very friendly, with a genuinely warm welcome. We stayed one night and everything was perfect. We’d gladly come back.
