Hôtel ibis Brest Centre

Staff were friendly and very helpful, and there are plenty of places to eat and have a drink nearby. The location’s good, very close to the Castle and the Brodge. I booked one of the renovated rooms and thought it looked really good. I liked this renovation more than the other design ramification at Ibis, like the ones in Prague (CZ) or Orleans (FR).

The location is good, and the crew are really nice, which earns the place one extra star. But the rooms are tiny, with no desk to work at. Booking said parking was available, but there isn’t any. You just have to be lucky enough to find a space on the street. It might be okay for a one-night city break, but for a longer stay I’d choose another hotel. I definitely won’t be back.

We spent five days at Ibis Brest Centre and would definitely recommend it. The room was large, clean, and new, and the staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast had plenty of choices, and the location was perfect for visiting the city and staying right in the center. There are lots of transport options just steps from the hotel.

The room was small, but since I only used it to sleep, that was fine. I was there for nearly a week, and the bed was really comfortable; both the room and en suite were spotless. I'm British, so I was surprised that nobody seemed to speak English, especially with the pamphlets printed in French and English. I skipped breakfast, so I can't say what it was like.
