We booked a room for four, but they asked us to move to a smaller room at the same price as a favour. We ended up in a room meant for two, with two extra beds squeezed in and hardly any space. The beds had been placed carelessly, and the bedside tables from the original setup were left above our heads. It felt dangerous, and I nearly hit my head on one. We contacted the patron to explain our concern about the tables. Communication was difficult because the staff spoke no English, and the only response we got was that Booking was to blame. They didn't seem to care much about new guests. They gave our room to a veteran client as a favour, and we were left with poor communication and little care. I wouldn't recommend it.

The rooms were really clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Still, my room was small, there was no parking for my car, and the fans outside, the cooling compressors, made it impossible to leave the window open at night. The kitchen was also a bit noisy in the morning. It's a little outside the centre, but near the marina and port, with a bar and restaurant right next door. On balance, I came away with a positive impression.

The breakfast was only so-so. The viennoiserie was fresh, but the other items tasted as if they'd been made three days earlier, dry and crumbly. The room was tiny and boiling hot, with hardly any air even when the window was open. They gave us a fan, but it didn't help much. There was no air conditioning, safe, or fridge. I know it's a three-star hotel, but I still expected some standards. The bathroom looked like one in a hospital, and the bathtub made such a noise that I was afraid it might give way when I stepped in. There was no parking either, so every time we went out we had to circle the hotel and port trying to find somewhere safe to leave the car. Such a hassle. The location itself was good, with the beach just across the road, a lovely view of the port, and beautiful sunrises. But for what we paid, I expected much more. I felt like I was on holiday again once I got home. I really don't recommend it.

I booked 11 nights, but the room was so bad that I left after just three. It was small and smelled damp. The bath plug was broken, so I couldn't fill the tub, and the hairdryer didn't work. My son could feel the springs in his bed. Of the eight unused nights, they refunded me for only four, but I couldn't stay there any longer.

The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable, but the hotel felt rough around the edges and lacking in several areas. Breakfast was terrible. Its location by the beach is what saves it.
