Logis Hotel Center

I had a comfortable stay and didn't notice the cleanliness issues some other guests mention. My room was a nice place to watch BBC news on the big screen, and I appreciated the water cooler in the corridor. The hotel isn't very central, but for me it was the best value in Brest. The sauna needs firmer rules once it's refurbished. People pour water carelessly over the stones, and that causes problems. A metal sheet should go between the heater and the wall to keep water off the wood. The ladle is too large for a sauna this size, something no bigger than a wooden pasta sauce spoon would do. Guests should also be encouraged to leave the door open for a few minutes after using it. The steam room doesn't have this issue, and of course it has no wooden parts.

The room was okay for our family of more than three, though when we first checked in I could smell something unpleasant, like an animal. Keep in mind that parking gets scarce after 10 pm, and after midnight it may be impossible to find a spot. It could have been because it was vacation time.

The rooms work well for a group of four and feel larger because two of the beds are on a mezzanine. Parking may be tough on weekends, and you could be told to park on the street. Booking a room doesn't guarantee you a parking spot.

One of their employees entered my room in the middle of the night. I screamed, and he ran off. I went down to reception to find someone, but nobody was there, and no one answered the phone or bell. I was terrified and left immediately. It was the worst experience of my life. They promised to refund the one night out of four when someone came into my room, but I've received nothing and haven't even had a reply to my emails. After I reviewed them on Hotels.com, they said I was lying, even though I had their emails admitting everything. I'm so disappointed. I've included pictures of our email conversation showing how they lied to me after my review, when they still hadn't replied or paid me back.
