The rooms had such a lovely, familiar scent, especially the sheets, bedspreads and pillows. That pleasant fabric softener smell really made it feel like home. The decor and garden were lovely too, and their cute little cat was a bonus. We were four people in a quiet residential area near the beach, with two double bedrooms connected by a bathroom and an outdoor terrace. The kind couple who own the small house prepared breakfast with care and let us enjoy it at our own pace. Thank you!

After a 5-hour drive, we were welcomed with lemonade and homemade triple chocolate cookies, such a treat. The room was simply but nicely decorated, with a comfortable bed, a private terrace and a bathroom separate from the sleeping area. Breakfast was excellent and made with homemade products, though cheese was the one thing missing 😉. Our first bed and breakfast experience was perfect, and we'd highly recommend it.

The peaceful setting and tastefully decorated rooms made for a lovely stay in Bretignolles. Véronique and Jean-François were so welcoming, and we really enjoyed the breakfast they prepared with care. Le Temps d'une Pause is a great place to stay if you're looking for a quiet retreat. Everything was perfect!

We had a perfect stay. The room and bathroom had been recently renovated, and both were spacious and beautifully decorated. We had our own entrance, plus a terrace with garden furniture. The welcome was perfect and breakfast was excellent. We'll be back!
