4/10
The place itself is beautiful, but the food and service didn't live up to it. My rare meat came out medium, and dinner took more than an hour to arrive. By the time I waited again to order cheese, I wasn't hungry anymore. Not somewhere I'd go back to.

We stopped in Troyes on the way back from a skiing trip and dropped in for a meal. The atmosphere was terrific, and both the food and service were excellent.

We arrived at 11pm, as arranged, but were locked out. The receptionist had left after about 10pm, nobody was at the desk, and no one answered our calls to let us in. We had to find another hotel, but still paid over £120 for two rooms we never got to use. A complete waste of time. Please don't use this hotel.

The food was pleasant and inexpensive, though the place was so popular that the staff seemed rushed. A practical hotel.

The room was comfortable, and I liked the restaurant more than I expected to.
