The bedrooms were spacious, clean, and warm, and the hotel was tidy throughout. Getting to the gondola meant an uphill walk of 5-6 minutes; we rented lockers at the top for our skis and boots, which worked out well. Dinner was a good quality three course meal, though there were no choices, which might not suit everyone. Breakfast had a generous selection. You have to cross an outdoor walkway to reach the dining room, and it felt cooler than the bedrooms. The bar was also a bit chilly, with doors at both ends opening often onto the outside. We knew the hotel had heating problems, so that may have affected the temperature. Bring a jumper or cardigan. It's a lovely hotel and good value for skiing the 3 valleys, with polite and helpful staff.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the food was good. The hotel is lovely, but getting to ski lessons takes planning: the nearest skiing and lessons are in Meribel, a 30 minute gondola ride away, and lessons start at 9 am. The upside is that the hotel is about as close to the gondola as you can get. We had a lovely stay.

Breakfast was nothing special, but it did the job. The staff were very nice, and the location is good, in the picturesque centre and not far from the Olympe gondola. There was a lot of street noise, so I'd book a high floor or a room facing the backyard. The standard was high for the price.

For a clean room with plenty of space, this is a great value. If you’re after absolute luxury, you’ll want to stay somewhere else.
