The staff were really friendly, and dinner was decent, though pricey. We got the last room, which was clean but nothing special. There was a really unpleasant smell throughout the place, though, and it put us off having breakfast the next morning.

The food was good and there was a nice range of wines. It's a reasonable place to stay, but it badly needs renovating.

The restaurant food was good, and the rooms were basic but okay. They could use some care and attention. Also, it was advertised as pet friendly, but it wasn't.

The room was clean and practical, and the bed was comfortable, so it worked well for an overnight stop. Some renovation would help.
