Breakfast is really good for €13, and the rooms are comfortable. They could use a bit more soundproofing, though. Great value, I’d recommend it.

The room was very clean and the shower was great, which made this a good stop for one night. It’s handy for the motorway and better value than one of the national chains. I didn’t eat there, so I can only comment on the room and hotel surroundings. I’ll likely stay again when I’m travelling this route.

The staff were helpful, even though there wasn’t an English speaker, and the hotel itself was okay. The rooms were nothing special, but perfectly fine if you need somewhere to stay in the Brignais area. A nearby restaurant fire disrupted the Wi-Fi so badly that I had to leave and go to a different hotel. Other than that, the place was fine.

The restaurant downstairs is close to a five-star experience because of the food quality, which is unusual for restaurants in France. I’d recommend it. The hotel is clean and well kept, with rooms of a standard size, which is unusual here since they’re usually smaller. Breakfast is fine, with a wide variety like at other Best Westerns, though they only serve a buffet.

Melanie was very sweet and kind at reception and in the breakfast room, and the restaurant manager and staff were nice too. The food was okay. The fresh bread at breakfast was excellent and crispy, not frozen. It was all nice, a five-star stay for a three-star hotel. Good weekend.
