Camping De La Bageasse

We stopped for two nights on our way to Bezier and could easily have stayed longer. The pitches are large and look out over the river, which was great for paddling and swimming. Bring swimming shoes. It was a fantastic little site for the price, and we’ll likely return when we head to the Med coast again.

We found a flat, shady pitch that worked well for our small tent while cycle touring, and the receptionist was really friendly and helpful. The pool is nice, if not very big, and you can swim in the river too. Facilities were plentiful, spotless, and had hot water. The bar and restaurant were packed, but it was Bastille Day. Good price, and I’d happily recommend the site.

We stayed in a new ecolodge and really enjoyed the peaceful, green setting right by the river. The value was great, and the staff were very kind. I booked for a large group, and they were generous and helpful in making it work.

We brought our three dogs for two nights in early September and found the price very reasonable. The pitches are huge and shaded, and you can drive around, look them over, and choose one yourself. There’s a nice pool area and good facilities, plus a restaurant and bar on site, or the village is a 25-minute stroll away. The river is right there, and we took the dogs swimming several times a day in the warm weather. I’d recommend it.
