The castle's history makes for a good tour, and the building itself is lovely. With a baby, you can walk around using a carrier, but a stroller won't work here.

There are plenty of hidden passages and stairways to explore, plus caves and old prison areas inside. It's an interesting castle with a bit of a Sleeping Beauty story, though there's not much furniture. Kids should enjoy it, but be ready for lots of steps.

The history inside was presented beautifully, and the château and surrounding walking area make the visit worthwhile. The wine was fairly average, though, especially with some really good vineyards nearby.

There are several long trails through the lovely park, and you can explore the rest of the castle on your own after the tour. The French guided tour takes about 45 minutes, covering the exterior and first floor. Our guide spoke well and shared lots of interesting anecdotes. Wine tasting is available in the cave.

The staff were very helpful, and parking is just across the street. We enjoyed the well-kept grounds and walks, especially in the sunshine. Inside, there was plenty of time to look around because it wasn't too busy. Definitely worth stopping by.
