We had a lovely two-night stay and will come back on our next trip to Brive. The owner was friendly and gave us useful tips about the area. From the terrace, the view over Brive was magnificent, and the little place felt cozy. Great value for money.

The living-room carpet was very dirty, there was mold and a strong damp smell, and the room had no windows. The supposed parking turned out to be a sidewalk. The kitchen equipment was very old, and although the spa worked, half its functions were obsolete. The owners live upstairs and can come through a door into their laundry room, which doesn't lock. For what it costs, the quality is completely inadequate. I rented it last week, and my booking is proof.

For the price, it felt like you were paying for the spa and little else. The room has no window, and the host lives just above it. On the jacuzzi side there's no blind or shutter, so the neighbors can watch whenever it's rented. The decor is really kitschy, and the walls and floors badly need fixing up. I wouldn't recommend it.

Parts of it are good and enjoyable, but the place needs more care and attention to detail.
