I’ll always remember those ten days, they were the best of my life. My first home after I moved to France with my fiancé on August 15th 2023 was this hotel, and the greenery and lovely scenery around it made such a wonderful first impression. A big thank you to the kind Spanish lady at reception. I still miss the breakfast, and we’ll come back to this beautiful place. You can walk to Intermarché in a few minutes. BNP Paribas is about a 20-minute walk, though that branch is closing next month, and there’s a convenience store right next to it. There’s also a big field with horses sometimes, just a few meters away.

The rooms were cold and smelled of mold, and the hotel sits in an industrial area. Breakfast was the worst. Reception shuts at 9pm, and the attitude made it feel like they were being paid to have me there.

The room was good and the hotel service was good too. But the walls are really poorly insulated. Right after I arrived, the neighbors were talking through the wall, saying they wanted us to change rooms. You only find this kind of as*h*le in France.

The hotel is clean and quiet, with great staff and a nice restaurant and bar on site. It’s good value if you’re visiting Versailles on a budget. It’s a little outside town in an industrial area, but there’s a bus to Versailles at the end of the road. It costs 2 euros and takes 10 minutes. For anyone like me who enjoys a glass of wine with dinner, a taxi back is about 12 euros.

We stayed here for the masked ball at versailles, and the hotel worked perfectly for that, about 15 minutes by car from versailles. The room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed and a big bathroom. Staff were really nice and helpful. It’s not a 5 star place, but for the price it’s perfect. For food, you’ll need to go to versailles.
