Le Souffle du Saule

We spent an October long weekend at Souffle du Saule and came away feeling rested. The apartment was spacious, modern, beautiful, and very cosy. We enjoyed the sauna and huge jacuzzi, plus a good breakfast and the option to order a nice dinner. Angelique gave a very nice massage, and the owners looked after us attentively throughout.

The Mélusine suite was spacious, beautifully decorated, clean, and well equipped, and the value felt especially good for access to the spa and jacuzzi area, which we loved. Gilles gave us a warm welcome and was professional, with lots of thoughtful touches that made the stay memorable. The meals were made with local ingredients and felt worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant, but in a relaxed setting. Le Souffle du Saule is a lovely spot for a pampering, restful break. We recommend it 100%!

We couldn't make use of the garden because it rained, so we'd like to come back when the weather is better. Our evening in the unusual gypsy caravan was lovely and different, with a warm, cosy, clean, well-insulated space. Gilles was fantastic at welcoming us and making sure everything was right. The spotless spa gave us a really relaxing moment of quiet, and breakfast was superb. Everything seemed set up to be as family-friendly as possible. Best of luck, Gilles!

The "Barrel of Bacchus" was an original and comfortable place to stay, with good bedding. We also liked the tastefully chosen decor, which made it feel cosy, and the mini-farm with a billy goat, kid goat, and piglet was a nice extra. The food was good, and we enjoyed the Belgian beers (Valduc). We had our first spa experience here and really enjoyed how relaxing it was, especially with the complimentary welcome cocktails there. The setting was lovely, and the manager was friendly and very helpful, clearly going the extra mile. A very pleasant stay at Le Souffle du Saule. Highly recommended! 👍 The Diebold Family (Illkirch)
