The beds were some of the best we've slept in for a while, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming. We stayed in the family suite with our three children, and the two rooms linked by a little private corridor worked perfectly for us. It also had a lovely bathroom and a separate toilet. The rooms were even nicer in person than they looked in the photos, with so much care in all the little details. It felt like a four-star hotel, tucked into a calm, green oasis. Breakfast was fabulous too. We'll definitely come back.

After our 24 km hike, it was a real treat to arrive at such a comfortable house with a lovely garden where we could relax and watch the sunset. There was plenty of open space, coffee and drinks available, and the whole place had thoughtful touches, from the great beds and linens to the modern bathroom, shower, and bathtub. Our hosts were very friendly and served a huge breakfast with local products. Having breakfast outside before setting off for a 25 km hike the next morning was hard to beat. We came with our hiking club and would happily return next year.

Céline and Sylvain made us feel welcome and were very helpful. Our room at La Foulerie was spotless and tastefully decorated to a high standard, and they kindly provided a baby bed for our one-year-old son. We didn't have time to try the spa area, but it looked like a lot of fun. We'd be happy to stay again and I'd certainly recommend it.

We all slept really well here. The beds were comfortable and it was very quiet, and the host was friendly and easy to talk to. We really enjoyed our stay.

This is just what you're after, and that 5/5 rating is well deserved. Wishing the lovely lady who runs the place all the best.
